The village with a medieval spirit
Located just 20 minutes by car from Bandol, opposite the Cadière d'Azur, Le Castellet is one of the most beautiful hilltop villages in the Var.
Ancient medieval city, today its access can only be done via 2 doors pierced in its old enclosure. The elements that make up the castrum make this coastal village the one that has best preserved its original structure. Note that its castle dating from the 15th century is listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments.
The village is entirely pedestrian. You can stroll through the charming cobbled streets and let yourself be drawn into the small designer boutiques. Crafts, local know-how, delicacies... a real piece of Provence to discover.
